Founded in 1909, United Family Services has a rich history of providing quality and needed services to families in our community. Our services are supported by gifts from individuals, foundations, government grants and United Way of Central Carolinas, Inc.
Donations are never taken for granted at United Family Services. We recognize that when we receive a gift, be it large or small, our responsibility is to manage the funds in the most prudent way possible and as the donor requested.

Memorial and Tribute Gifts
With Memorial and Tribute gift donations of $25 or more to United Family Services, a special personalized Memorial or Tribute card sent directly to the recipient. |

United Family Services also gratefully accepts donations of items found on our Wish List. Wish lists are available for the Shelter for Battered Women, and Mecklenburg, Cabarrus and Union counties.
Monetary donations to the agency or any of its services are tax deductible as allowed by law. Donors are acknowledged in our quarterly newsletter and annual report. United Family Services does not share or sell our donor and mailing lists.Our present fund-raising methodologies are confined to targeted mailings to those on our mailing lists and campaigns/events organized by UFS staff and volunteers.
