Partners In Parenting

"The presenter had me entranced. She spoke boldly and well. I am touched not only by the material she presented, but by the depth of her thoughtfulness in her wording. This was time well spent and the best place I could have been on Valentine's Day. Thank you for touching me and for inadvertently reaching my child. Please know that you served your purpose."

“This class really helped me to focus on what is really important to my child's feelings and well-being instead of focusing on destroying the other parent to gain custody. Court battles are hard, but I have decided to approach my ex in a different way. Thank you for your help and information.”

“I didn't think I needed the class after raising four kids, all me for 10 years, but I realized it helped tremendously. I've learned a great deal.”

“I have been divorced for 7 years. I wish this program had been mandatory prior to my divorce. It may have helped the communication problems between my ex- (husband) and me.”

Parents and other primary caregivers who participate in our Partners in Parenting four-hour course care about protecting the well-being of their children at a time when their families are experiencing disruption caused by separation, divorce or reorganization.

Parents will learn how to help children with typical reactions to the end of their parents' relationship; ways parents hurt and help their children; how to talk with children about change; successful strategies for introducing children to new family structures; how to tell if children are at risk for serious behavioral problems and how to improve relationships with children.
